Paul D. Burgin Named Partner

We are delighted to announce that Paul D. Burgin has been made a Partner at our Firm. Paul represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters in court and before federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. Paul also provides human resources advice and counseling, and prepares and revises employee handbooks, personnel policies and procedures, employment agreements and restrictive covenants.

Prior to joining Shawe Rosenthal as an associate, Paul served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kevin Arthur of the Appellate Court of Maryland. While still in law school, he was a judicial intern for the Honorable Shirley Watts of the Supreme Court of Maryland. Paul graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served as Associate Managing Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review, competed on the National Moot Court Team, and was a member of the Heuisler and Royal Shannonhouse Honor Societies. Paul received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College. Paul has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the past several years.
