Veronica Yu Welsh advises and represents employers with their employment-related matters. Veronica partners with her clients to provide practical and strategic solutions to their legal issues to both prevent and defend against legal disputes. Veronica prepares and revises employee handbooks and other internal policies, drafts employment agreements, and provides business advice to clients on navigating the employment relationship from inception to separation to reduce potential liabilities and risk.
Veronica also advocates for her clients throughout the litigation process in federal and state court, as well as before administrative agencies, defending against claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour violations, including collective and class actions, and enforceability of contract provisions. Veronica is certified by the D.C. Office of Human Rights to provide sexual harassment training, as required by the D.C. Tipped Wage Workers Fairness Amendment Act of 2018.
In addition to Veronica’s employment experience, Veronica has a diverse litigation background and has represented clients from all different industries in various types of matters including defending against personal injury, products liability and toxic exposure, and commercial disputes.
