Fiona noted that, even prior to the Supreme Court’s recent decision banning affirmative action in college admissions, she had questioned the technical legality of minority-only fellowships and programs. She also explained that employee resource or affinity groups must be open to all employees, even those who do not share the characteristic on which the group is based.
