Fiona Ong Testifies in House of Delegates In Support of Delaying Paid Sick Leave

On February 13, 2018, Fiona Ong testified before the Economic Matters Committee (ECM) of the Maryland House of Delegates in support of SB 304, the bill that would revise the effective date of the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act to July 1, 2018.  If a majority of the members of the ECM vote in favor of the bill, it will move to the House floor and will require a favorable vote by a 3/5 majority to pass.  To read Fiona’s testimony, click here.  To view a recording of the testimony, click here.
