Automotive Dealerships

For many years, we have worked closely with the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association, a statewide association of new car and truck dealers. We also represent individual dealerships on a wide range of labor and employment matters. Some of our recent activities include:

• Conducting an annual seminar for the members of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association, most recently on wage-hour issue and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
• Representing a truck dealership in an National Labor Relations Board election in which the employees rejected union representation.
• Preparing the employee handbook for an automotive dealership with policies specific to the industry.
• Providing advice and counsel regarding reasonable accommodations for a disabled employee.
