William J. Rosenthal (1920-2013)

It is with deep sadness that we tell you of the passing of one of founders, William J. Rosenthal, on March 12, 2013.  He was 92 years old.

Bill recently retired after 62 years of practice with the Firm.  He was nationally recognized for his expertise and accomplishments representing management in the field of labor and employment law.

Bill was a long time member of the American Bar Association Committee on NLRB Practice and Procedure and was a contributing editor of B.N.A.’s “The Developing Labor Law, The Board, The Courts and the National Labor Relations Act.”

Before joining the Firm in 1951, Bill was an Administrative Assistant in the national Office of Price Administration in Washington, D.C., where he participated in the formulation and administration of World War II price control and rationing programs. He also served in World War II from 1942 – 1946 as a deck officer in the United States Navy, and participated in the D-Day Normandy invasion.
