Darryl G. McCallum on WYPR’s Maryland Morning
On February 28, 2014, Darryl G. McCallum joined Caryn York of the non-profit Job Opportunities Task Force and host Sheilah Kast on the Maryland Morning show on the local NPR station, WYPR, to discuss the proposed “Maryland Second Chance Act of 2014.” Darryl explained management’s concerns that the bill, which permits the “shielding” of certain criminal convictions, will prevent businesses from obtaining information relevant to evaluating the suitability of applicants and employees for employment, promotion or transfer.
