Webinar: Complying with Marylands New Employment Laws
On April 29, 2021, The Maryland Chamber of Commerce and Shawe Rosenthal LLP hosted a complimentary webinar to discuss the passage of significant new employment legislation, including the Essential Workers Protection Act, bereavement leave rights, workplace peace orders, and revisions to the state’s mass layoff notification law, among other things. The Chamber’s Senior Policy Analyst Andrew Griffin discussed this most challenging session in history, and Shawe Rosenthal attorneys Fiona W. Ong and Paul D. Burgin provided guidance on compliance with Maryland’s new employment laws.
