A Note to our Valued Clients During the Coronavirus Pandemic

 In

The attorneys at Shawe Rosenthal LLP have been working around the clock to keep our clients up-to-date on the developments on the COVID-19 pandemic, as we know it greatly affects employers, their employees and their workplace.  We wanted to ensure you that we are dedicated to providing the highest level of legal services without interruption throughout this period of uncertainty.  In addition, we are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our attorneys and staff while continuing to provide seamless support to our clients.

In light of Governor Hogan’s declaration of a state of emergency, we are in the process of transitioning our operations to remote work to the greatest extent possible.  All of our attorneys and staff have remote capabilities with access to our documents and systems in a highly secure environment.  We have prepared for remote capabilities over the course of several years and are pleased that our attorneys and support staff are working remotely without disruption.  All of our direct dial office phones have been forwarded to attorney and staff personal phones.  In addition, attorneys and staff are accessing documents and emails through a secure network.  In addition, we have the capabilities to hold remote meetings via video conference calls, and of course, teleconferences.

As you may know, the Court and Administrative Agencies that we routinely deal with have either closed, employed telework for their staff, or are on a very scaled back status.  Attorneys handling any litigation or administrative matters for you will communicate directly with you regarding what that means for deadlines, appearances, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences, and anticipated decisions.

We anticipate these measures will continue for the coming weeks. Any changes will be communicated with you as soon as possible.

Thank you for putting your trust and confidence in Shawe Rosenthal during these uncertain times. We wish all of our clients and partners continued good health during these difficult times. The American spirit is strong. Together, we will get through this.
