Government Contractors

We assist federal contractors and subcontractors with compliance with affirmative action obligations, as enforced by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Our contractor clients include supply and service contractors, as well as construction contractors. Recent activities include:

  • Obtaining summary judgment for a federal contractor in a federal lawsuit claiming disability discrimination.
  • Defending a federal subcontractor against a hiring and equal pay discrimination complaint filed by the OFCCP.
  • Representing a federal contractor in an OFCCP compliance review.
  • Preparing affirmative action plans under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act.
  • Advising contractors on compliance with Executive Orders on sick leave, pay transparency, minimum wage, and other topics.
  • Providing training to the state chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) on developments impacting government contractors.
  • Conducting a presentation to the Human Resources Association of Southern Maryland on Executive Orders applicable to government contractors.
