Preston P. “Pete” Heck II represents employers with regard to a wide range of labor and employment matters in court and before federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor. He also prepares and revises employee handbooks, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
Before joining Shawe Rosenthal, Pete practiced at a Baltimore civil litigation firm where his practice emphasis was in commercial and business litigation, and insurance coverage matters in Maryland. Pete also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable J. Michael Wachs of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Pete graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served as the Publications Editor on The University of Baltimore Law Review and competed on the J. Braxton Craven Memorial Moot Court Team.
